Note: instructions are the same for the 2002 and 2006 bikes.

1. Remove the seats, pipes,rear pegs, disconnect all lights in the back,
2. Remove the 2 bungee hooks, then the tail section.
3. Remove the computer and it's cover.

4. Then remove the key lock and reposition 2 relays outside of the sub frame on the left side and one on the right side using zip ties.(see pic 2. and 2.1)

5. Cut the undertray with a sharp knife or a dremel (I suggest the last one) use safety glasses, be careful. look at the pictures below to guide you

6. Cut the sides flush to the box of the undertray . New location of the relays (blue arrow) Location of the keylock cable holder notch to snap the keylock cable note, wait before clipping the cable in the bracket.

7. Insert the cable in the keylock then press the white plastic bushing
 

8. Insert the undertail and attach it on both side with the 2 stainless
Phillips screws, fig 4.2

9. Drill on the flat area to install the licence plate bracket (provided in the kit), measure, mark and drill.

10. Connect the tail lights and turn signals as follow:

Tail/brake lights:

green from the bike (ground) to the black with white stripe on the tail light.

black with brown stripe from the bike(running light) to the red on the tail light.

green with yellow stipe from the bike (brake light) to the all black on the tail light.

Turn signals:
The blue OEM connector is for the right side.
The orange OEM connector for left side.

When connecting LED signals, make sure to match positive and negative wires because the LED's will not work on reverse polarity.

Same for the LED license plate light, check polarity, we suggest you connect it to the green and to the black with brown stripe wires.
